Shirley Eustis House

1820 Shirley Place- The Governors Shirley-Eustis House in Roxbury has been a preservation and restoration project for many years.  After its initial exterior restoration in the 1970s, a Historic Structure Report was prepared to serve as the basis for the restoration of the grounds and the interior from 1980 to 1985.  The contract documents, drawings and specifications detailed work on the house as well as the relocation of the 1806 Ingersoll-Gardner Coach House from Brookline in 2001.  (Restoration Drawing by Frederic C. Detwiller; restorations with R.G. Neiley and McGinley Hart & Associates)
